Final Reflection
* I accidentally posted my final reflection with my Exit Strategy Post.
Overall I have enjoyed this course and feel that taking it
my senior year was a great fit. After looking through my old posts I’ve come to
realize that this class was not what I expected it to be. I would have never
thought that an entrepreneurship class would involve starting a blog and
writing posts every week. Nonetheless this was the best way for this class to
be done and the experience was great. One of my favorite assignments in this
class was the reading reflections especially the second one. If it was not for
this class I probably would have never read Scott Adams book “How to Fail at
Almost Everything and Still Win Big”. This book was amazing and was an
inspiration for me. The book taught me valuable lessons on failure and to never
give up chasing your dreams in business or personal. I feel that I have gained
insight on what it’s like to be an entrepreneur and will have the tools and
class experience to help guide me when my time actually comes. I wouldn’t
classify myself as an entrepreneur or anywhere close to that. I feel that in
order to be an entrepreneur you need to actually get your hands dirty and just
do it. When it comes to the next
students to take this course I think its most important that they grasp the
idea of busy work needs to get done early. The best way to go about this class
is to start on Monday and do a little bit each day. When you wait last minute
for assignments life becomes stressful, and that’s something we can all avoid.
All in all I really enjoyed reading my groups posts and have a great winter
break!

Conner,
ReplyDeleteI went over to your exit strategy post and read your final reflection there. I agree with you that this course ended up being very different than what I expected. It turned out to be far more helpful than I could have imagined. I think you and I probably share that belief with most of the other people in this class. I have enjoyed seeing your posts throughout this semester and I think you definitely have the entrepreneurial mindset inside you. Good-luck with your future!
