My Customer Avatar
I have a very focused
prototypical customer, and that is those who are in need of a parking spot
within a certain geographical location. For this class I selected the area
around Norman hall/ sorority row and all those who live within this area. For
the most part this area of Gainesville is occupied by those affiliated with the
University of Florida, more specifically the students. This area of Gainesville
is filled with apartments at max capacity, resulting in a central location
filled with people and their vehicles.
(I would say that this is what my prototypical
customer would look like, just your everyday college student who is living off
campus and needs a place to park their car. )
What
do you have in common with the customer avatar?
I have a lot in common with my customer avatar because I
have lived in this area for the past three years and know how bad the parking
can be. I went through a time where I did not have my own parking place and
depended on street parking and it stressed me out! My goal is to take off the
burden of not being able to find a parking spot for UF college students that
need it. We already go to a top ten public institute that can be very
challenging and stressful. My hope is that by providing additional parking I
would be able to take off that burden.

ReplyDeleteI also have a lot of in common with you and your customers! Although I don't live the area near the campus and downtown, I till feel difficult to find the park space when I hang out with friends or go to class in those area. Therefore, I think your idea about the additional parking is necessary, and I also believe you will make it happen in the future!
I am certainly a prototypical customer of yours. Clearly not directly but indirectly for sure. I think you have done a good job of identifying those that your product would effect. It is certainly a tricky situation you have here in the sense that the actual customer you are pursuing is the city government. I think you have done a great job throughout these assignments in dealing with that unique situation. I look forward to seeing more from you in the future.
ReplyDeleteHi Connor, I believe that I also identify with your prototypical consumer. On campus parking always proves to be a challenge and I would be extremely grateful if a solution were to arise. I think you also did a great job identifying the reasons that your target market would consider utilizing your parking service. I can't wait to hear your other suggestions!
